This Pinotage grows on Tygerberg shale and dirty sandstone dominated soils. Deep ruby with a purple tinged rim, revealing liberal ripe raspberry, black cherry and mulberry aromas that follow through on the plush, juicy entry, well supported by savoury liquorice, clove and cardamon finishing with lashing ripe berry fruit and lingering oak spice. Smooth and juicy for immediate enjoyment with promising potential to integrate further for up to 5 years from vintage.
