Château Destieux, 750 ml

Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé since 2006 Vineyard: 8.12 hectares producing 30,000 to 35,000 bottles. Varietals: 66% Merlot, 17% Cabernet Franc, 17% Cabernet Sauvignon. Viticulture: Sustainable approach with low yields, manual harvest with double sorting before vinification. Winemaking: Fermented in eight wooden casks of 4,500 litres each. Ageing on lees in carefully selected new 225-litre barrels. Wine with a deep dark colour, intense nose with black fruits, vanilla and toasted bread notes, frank and well rounded in the mouth, deep in structure and sophisticated tannins, a freshness and aromatic complexity in the end.
