The terroir of Bourgueil is composed of 7 Villages, very well protected from the north wind and with a superb mild micro-climate .The appellation (1,200 hectares) produces two different styles of Bourgueil: fruity and charming wines harvested on gravels, as well as rich, full bodied wines harvested on chalky soils. Couly–Dutheil, thanks to the special partnership, benefits from top quality cuvées and domaines. Viticulture: Integrated farming system based on biological methods. Tasting notes: Nice, dark and shiny ruby robe. Very pleasant and elegant nose with red fruits aromas. Fruity, soft, easy to drink, it is a charming wine. Ageing: Can be kept for 4–5 years. Serving: Served between 15–17°C. Recommended with chicken, ham, veal, grilled meat and barbecue dishes.
