Bordeaux Blanc Background: Because Bordeaux can give colour to life in red or white, the Médoc plant in recent years of white vine, convinced that the local excels in the Médoc red, Henri Duboscq follows fashion by giving the name of his wife to a white wine, vinified for her by winemaker Lugasson in Entre-Deux-Mers. Vineyard: Stretching on clay limestone promontory of Lugasson, the vineyard faces the rising sun. Vinification: Fermentation controlled at low temperature allows a pale color and a very attractive aromatic freshness. Ageing in oak barrels which introduce complexity in flavour avoiding excess wood. Features: This white Bordeaux, dry, fruity and subtle does not claim to greatness. It is a balanced, flexible , soft and fleshy. It harmonises perfectly with fish and is wonderful with oysters.
