Since then, the vineyard was re-established and extend by buying in 1971 15 hectares which were a part of Sigognac in the 19th century. In 2009, the owners sold the château to Vineyards Allard SAS, chaired by Monsieur Christophe Allard. Today Chateau Sigognac continues its process of modernisation whilst respecting the know-how and traditions which have made its wine so well regarded. Blend: Cabernet Sauvignon 45%, Merlot 41%, Cabernet Franc 12%, Petit Verdot 2%. Tasting notes: With its beautiful red colour, this wine has a red fruits nose. The attack on the mouth is round and supple with ripe tannins. Matching food: Red meats, game and cheese.
